How do I prepare for the session?
Once your session is booked and we finalize the location, I’ll send you a prep guide with everything you need to know so the experience feels easy and relaxed.
Can my dog be off leash?
Your pet’s safety always comes first.
If your dog is well-trained and we’re in a safe, controlled area, we can absolutely photograph them off leash. Otherwise, leashes can easily be removed or edited out of the final images when needed.
Does my dog need to be trained?
Not at all.
Basic commands like sit or stay are helpful, but not required. Sessions are guided and paced to work with your pet’s personality, so we capture natural moments without forcing anything.
Do you photograph cats?
Yes, absolutely.
Cats have their own pace and personality, so we’ll choose the setting that keeps them most comfortable, whether that’s at home, outdoors, or in-studio for more confident kitties. I’ll guide you on what works best.
Can I be in the photos with my pet?
Absolutely, I encourage it.
These sessions are about the connection you share, and those images often become the most meaningful.
What type of session options do you offer?
You can choose between a studio session (with backdrop options), an in-home lifestyle session, or an outdoor session using natural light.
What time do sessions take place?
Studio sessions are scheduled earlier in the day. In-home sessions may offer more flexibility depending on your space. Outdoor sessions are weather permitting and are best scheduled about one hour before sunset for the most flattering light.
How many images will I receive?
All final edited images are included.
Each image is selected to give you a variety of expressions and moments, so your gallery feels complete and not repetitive.
When will I receive my images?
Your final gallery will be delivered within approximately 2 weeks from your session date.
Do you offer prints or products?
Yes.
After your gallery is delivered, we can go over how you’d like to display your images at home, whether that’s prints, albums, or wall art. I’ll guide you through the available options.
What happens after I book?
After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire. Based on your answers, I’ll guide you on the best setup for your session and finalize the details with you.
